Electric Beach Mankato is a member of the International Smart Tan Network and our entire salon staff is Smart Tan certified! As a member of this organization, we provide, recognize and practice specific principals and procedures in the responsible administration of ultraviolet light for cosmetic purposes. Our employees are formally and comprehensively trained to understand and follow exposure schedules on the equipment, focus on the need for all our clients to wear federally approved eyewear, and we teach our clients to avoid sunburn and overexposure, both indoors and outdoors.

At Electric Beach Mankato, adherence to proper cleaning and sanitation protocol is maintained and federal and state or provincial regulations are emphasized.
